Welcome to our family.
Here at Revival Health, we see you as family. We always dreamed of this space being a HOME—in every sense of the word—for health & healing. A home that is welcoming, comfortable, safe, and familiar. We truly hope you not only know that, but feel that in everything we do. And we hope you can take that feeling well beyond the four walls of Revival.
Drew O’Bleness
Dr. Drew O’Bleness was born and raised in Keokuk, IA, before attending the University of Iowa. He graduated from Iowa with a degree in Integrative Physiology and went on to achieve his doctorate degree with honors at Life University in Marietta, GA.
It was through his own health challenges and journey that he found his passion for chiropractic and natural healing.
“While in my twenties I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, and had to act quickly to figure out how to help my body heal and stay well. After a mindset shift, consistent work, lots of ups and several setbacks, I was able to truly heal in more ways than one, continuing to live a vibrant, full life! I am grateful to be where I am today with the opportunity to serve other people along their journey to finding true health & healing. I love being able to empower and encourage people to reach their full potential, both in health and in life, and to provide hope that they are not defined by their diagnosis.
My journey and the impact that it had on my wife and our future is what led me to become a chiropractor. My mission is to help another mother, father, child, friend, get their health back so they can not only fulfill the life they were called to, but help inspire those around them live a more full life, too.
We love the Des Moines area! We are grateful for the mission we get to be a part of. And we look forward to every person (you!) and family we get to meet on their way to optimal health & potential.”
OWNER & CHIROPRACTOR
Kelsey O’Bleness
Kelsey is the co-owner and office manager of Revival Health. And in addition to these roles, her most prized roles are being the wife of Dr. Drew and a proud mom to their son, Isaiah.
“It was through our own wake-up call & journey to finding a health care approach that aligned with our wants and needs, that I found my deeper purpose and calling. After my husband, Dr Drew, was diagnosed with cancer back in 2014, we found ourselves in search of a cure—not in chemo or medications, but in a cause. Being only 23 at the time with a lot of life to live, we wanted a deeper understanding of health & what our lives would look like. This lead us across the country, literally and figuratively, in search of ways to support and align with the body’s needs to fully heal. And (spoiler alert) this search ultimately lead us to chiropractic and the philosophy of Above Down Inside Out.
While Dr Drew attended chiropractic school at Life University in Marietta, GA, I had the opportunity to work as a chiropractic assistant alongside some of the most incredible & successful doctors in the profession. This experience was far more than a J-O-B. My time spent in this office showed me the true impact that chiropractic has as I watched transformations happen every single day! This experience ultimately planted the seeds for our own health center, and prepared us as we grew those dreams into a reality.
And although I do not know everything, or even a fraction of everything these is to know, I have come to truly believe it is not our birthright to be sick and suffering. We were born to be healthy and well, full of life and vitality.
And it is in walking this path of ups and downs that I have the last 7 years—as a caregiver, a patient, and a chiropractic assistant, that I can say our darkest days have truly become the light to our purpose. And our purpose is in sharing that healing is possible, and that there is a different way.
It is our incredible honor to serve you and your family, as our own. We truly want nothing more than to see you heal and live well. “
